The Sandbox Lady
Good Afternoon- this is my first post and I am excited! Today I am at home. My father and baby are in a room away napping. The dogs are with me napping and my husband is at work. A peaceful moment to begin this online adventure. Being home in the middle of the day is a new concept for me. For ten years I have worked in Workforce Development. I started as an entry level, a case manager who helped young people find a job or complete their education. I became a manager, a director, and finally a vice president.... and about a month ago I left my job- with no other job. This is something that I have advise others not to do, something that was ingrained in me by my father and grandmother- you do not leave a job unless you have another... well... I am rebooting, taking a risk, I have knocked down the sandcastle and rebuilding. Looking for partnerships, opportunities, and hopefully can share what I have learned throughout the years.
